Dear Friends,
Is there anybody using margin trading facility provided by the Capital Trust for the small investors ? Do they need a minimum portfolio for allowing margin trading ? What are your experiences with margin trading with CT ? please share your experiences .

I have not used, but their interest rate is very high 22% p.a.

They don't have minimum requirement, they just promoting it to catch the portfolios less than 1 million, but at a higher rate.
I think no other firm offer margin facility for less than 1 million portfolio though the interest rate is low.

Using margin trading with Capital Trust is easier than using banks. (though their interest rate is high).

Why guys, didn't you check with Asha Phillips? They have new Finance Company called Äsha Phillp Finance and they offered us 16% p.a. and can apply if your portfolio is more than Rs 500,000/=.
I also applied but still not finalized. Hope it will be ready end of this week.

As i have heard capital trust's reputation regarding their margin trading facility is not good..

yes asha phillip could be better.. Because they have a good reputaion in the market..
