Banking & Finance sectors are waiting for consistent policy decisions. Perhaps, some may be addressed in coming budget speech that all financial institutions are waiting for. Influx of new entrants becomes the sector vastly competitive & market penetration has become tedious.

UBC attracts middle & upper middle business segment which had not been served much by competitors. Transfer of technology, know how & training with international relationships are the positive points inherited. It seems that UBC becomes under long term investment category.

Among banking sector worst performing bank. Look at there financials. Very much Overvalued.

It should be valued significantly above peers because it is a growing bank. However, not at such high PEs.

UBC doesn't have a very strong management or a brand name. And its subsidiary - UB Finance is a waste of time, space and possibly every thing we can imagine.

UBC would do 2x better if they dispose of UBC like they have been wanted to for several years now.
