I heard that stock brokers with stock broker association is planning to lobby with president Sirisena do discuss tte hipercussions of proposed CGT on stock market. They will soon discuss and some excemptions will be solicited. Be watchfull people.

IT WAS REPORTED IN YESTERDAY'S ISLAND FINANCIAL REVIEW:

QUOTE: 'THE COLOMBO BROKERS ASSOCIATION MET IN EMERGENCY SESSION AND URGENT REPRESENTATIONS WERE MADE TO GOVT....'

TODAY THE MARKET TURNED UPWARDS. I AM SURE THERE IS GOOD NEWS IN THE PIPELINE. MOST PROBABLY CSE WILL BE EXEMPTED FROM CGT.
