Im gonna buy 40,000 JKHw @1 total cost= 40,000/-

option 1)
if it's price goes up to 2/- ,then I'll sell it and take profit. amount 80,000/-
so profit is 40,000/-

option 2)
if not, I'll sell 36,000 warrants @ whatever price.
and subscribe 4000 warrants with additional money(+149/-).
then I'll sell 4000 JKH.N @ 165-175/-
so then I'll realize my lost 80,000/- after the subscription.

please share your ideas with me..

I'll not sell 36,000 warrants bellow 1/-
warrants are not like rights..
rights- anyone can apply extra shares,
but warrants are not like that
if I don't subscribe 36000 warrents, JKH company will lose 149*36000 rs capital

Great point! Last time with w22, there was a still a second chance to collect and increase shareholding with w23 a year later. Ultimately, the vast majority of w22 was converted. This time, there's no warrant 24 or rights issue for a long way ahead so that opportunity is gone after Tuesday. So in a sense, w23 is more valuable than w22 for those who believe in JKH's dominance in the long run. Despite whatever means they use to suppress the main share and warrant price, they'll also collect with a lot of enthusiasm.

Rather than miss out on capital, the company would want warrants bought and converted. Their stock brokering operations/foreign fund managers/subsidiaries can all play a constructive role and mop them all up on Monday and Tuesday. Meanwhile other stock brokers are still sending out research reports with a buy recommendation for JKH or key JKH subsidiaries so how is the warrant as worthless as some think?

Big profit contributors for JKH such as CCS and the hotels sector are doing well according to buy reports and interim statements. JKH is so huge that even it's subsidiary CCS (Keells Super/Elephant house) is in the top 10 companies of the CSE by market cap. Some organisations are too big to fail, it's history is proof that it's stood the test of time and will only continue to thrive.

Actually there will be an investor for these warrents. It's not hard to sell JKH identity to world.

-If you are buying W23 for conversion then just wait for the last moment of ttrading @ tommorrow then buy whatever no of warrent you want. Then you are sure your cost. Otherwise just don't see at this warrent.
