Yeah price correction may happen sooner. Try to grab KOTA and KGAL then. Give priority to KGAL. It is really good around 60. I think they will pay at least 6rs this time. Also AGST is okay to buy below 5.
I interest in KOTA, what is the best price to enter? Any target price?

Compared to others KVAL has not appreciated much. One year low 63.10 high 90.00. Still trading around 71.00. Quite possible to appreciate to 80-85 level soon. Good profitable company paying yearly dividends.
Dont push, good to collect around 71.

I think plantation sector will move further. Specially MAL,KOTA,BOPL.I heard Last month huge demand for tea. But the harvest reduction due to weather condition. They can not provide their harvest to fulfill market demand. Therefore further tea price increased and economical policies are favorable to tea sector.

Even 100% gain is possible. Try to collect @ a bargain price. Hope there will be a lil price correction tomo. I was recommending this below 7/=. I think you too will be able to collect it around 7=. Be patient and collect around 7. At least below 7.50/=
And if you can hold it more than a year, even 200% gain is possible.

Prices of all plantation companies will appreciate further from 25% - 100% within two months.
Sept Qtr results will also be good like June.

Tea prices of all categories gained Rs.20 - 30 in last Tea Auction.🙂

KVAL is not that potential counter. At least they need a good dividend policy. 70/= is a reasonable price for KVAL. The best we can hope is 80/= and seems only good for trading purposes. But not recommended.

Dear Kavidu
This is not arguing you, but KVAL will reach Rs.90. No major increase was happened with other counters in the industry. Last Q result was superb and Q2 will be more attractive. Therefore, it will be beneficial with less risk. Further, KVAL major crop is TEA. Their categories run well these days.

If you remember, Bala went up to Rs.38 in 2017 with tea trend. Therefore, it is risky to collect at peak prices of others.

But, KOTA is still good and HAPU!!

@WinWin Yes but for some reason KVAL didn't depreciated much when comparing to same sector counters during the C9 period.. Also they didn't pay dividend regularly. That's a black mark.

Yes their major crop is tea and there's a potential uptrend for coming days for tea sector. I agree. But if we annualized the EPS for current earnings it will be around 16. Which means if it is trading for 80, PE is 5. But in the same sector NAMU is trading for a far discounted price when we annualized EPS for current earnings. NAMU PE is around 3.5. KGAL has a PE of 9 but because of their high dividend payout ratio its price will appreciate more.

In my opinion KVAL will be only a good counter if they maintain a good dividend policy. Otherwise comparing to same sector counters no one will be interested of it for 70+ prices.

Thanks for sharing your idea.

Cheers!

Why not? it came all the way from 1.70. There's a possibility to hit 6/= with the June QR. Only below 4 is acceptable as a fair price. Further they never paid a dividend. So in overall view, i'm not satisfied with this company
