Indeed 💡
JETS has down more than 40% YTD & compared with the valuations and the price movements of the other two hotel chains “JETS” has more room to grow.
******* Further JETS has returned to profitability for the first time since COVID in Q4 23 ********

Such price fixing is never sustainable. Free markets should be allowed to find its equilibrium based on supply and demand.

I didn't know that TAJ hotel have announced quarterly earnings. Anyway one hotel company which gave me good capital gain in the past. It’s one of the high momentum stocks. Good luck! This time I took a position in RCH after seeing and studying their rock balance sheet when others are selling.

NAV - 21
Eps - (Cool

1.) After the rights issue of over Rs.10 billion the money from rights issue will decrease net finance costs of (1.1Bn). And can result in a net finance INCOME !

2.) Exchange loss of (2.4Bn) is not repetitive. As the rupee depreciate against the dollar, can expect a exchange gain.

Worst case result ;
Net finance cost - 0 (excess cash of 10Bn will generate interest income, still we shall not consider it)
Exchange loss - 0 (assuming dollar won’t go below 290/-)

This results in a positive difference of 1.16BN + 2.4BN compared to the previous quarter. 3.56BN Worth of loss will not appear.

Real scenario - a net positive number. From interest income and exchange gains.

3.) Reversal in electricity tariffs for hotels !

4.) The huge influx of tourists. Airline companies starting direct routes. Chinese markets coming down with 3 flights a week. The big marketing campaigns done with the direct supervision of gov heads. (The recent promotion for all ambassadors)
These will result in the Golden days of tourism.

5.) Illiquid and a favorite hotel counter.

This is not investment advise. And information is about a company in Cambodia and not SL. So please do not use these for any investments.

They are going to create a bad loan bank.
Also add citrus group shares to the watch list. There might be a possibility to change the ownership.
