DIST
Today we can see some BULL attacks to DIST. May be price can go up soon.
MELS already passed Rs.65/-
But, DIST stay 22 - 24 range for long period. It also can move at any unexpected time like AEL.
Q1 during Covid quarter EPS 0.21.
But, Q2 EEPS 0.57.
Q3 can be better during December festival season.
Any how, DIST is a strong company and with the increase of ASI to new higher of 8000, this price also should adjust.
Watch now.

At the end of trading, It's clearly witness bullish patter in DIST.
This is one of, non moving share during last 2 - 3 months.
I can see something is happening here, because MELS price gone from 35 to 65, but DIST has not moved yet.
As per below, www.investing.com mentioned as "STRONG BUY".
If some one expert in Technical charts, can explain this?

In 2020/2021  Q2 ,EPS was 0.78
So first interim dividend was 0.42.
If I were you, I will wait till Q2 report is released, because I expect Q2 EPS somewhere around 0.25 (I came to a conclusion that their major  revenue stream is domestic sales)
This is just my opinion, if everyone thought in the same way, there will be no trades in the market.

very vaild point @xhunter ... however i took positions today with solid qunatities
these are my reasons.

1. Dist is the mels's cash cow and i m expecting around 0.4-5 rs dividend on nov
2. its has being on the lowest price range since 2021 November 11 21st.. almost one year.. technically very strong support.. so it wont crash as much ( i always like to have few of these stocks in my pf while having high beta)
3. party season incoming people will buy... worst case qoq will have a massive break on next Q
4. there is a foreign seller at 18.5 which has hidden sell order.. after his quantity is taken out.. this will break out
5. all the other fundamentally value stocks are adjusting to current market PE.. very few hasnt this is one of those Smile

lemme know ur thoughts thank u

1. To declare 0.40 dividend, they need 4,600,000,000 x 0.4 = 1.84 Bn.    But their cash position is not strong enough to cater this much of money (according to last report). If MELS badly needs cash, as you said it is possible but not probable because they have to increase the short term debt (probably overdraft) which is not good for DIST.
3.  Agree, country turning to normal. So Q3 will be much better for DIST you should hold it until mid Q4 at least.

Other points are “Market dynamics”, there is no right or wrong (ex: I don’t believe in technical analysis . but I know that it works for  people who believes TA.)
