I think this went down due to same reasons like all other stocks.. like other stocks this one also can revert to normal….. Because of involvement of investment funds like CINV and interest shown by other investors… this may fast revert to normal, … much quicker than the others.

I think its partly because of negative publicity . SAMP is a very good share at current levels (Rs 250) when compared to other private commercial banks .

There are declines of NIM, PAT, Non interest income in 1Q2011 compared to same quarter in 2010.Also there is a trend of rising the operating income from 2009.

Please refer the annual and interim reports.

They are expanding their branch network aggressively. this may adversely affect the balance sheet, but in few years dramatically improve the shareholder value,

some broker firms gave Sell recommendations for SAMP probably because of this reason
