Buying share from Private placement.

Is there any secured way to apply for share by private placement as a group? coz minimum subscription will be a big amount & cant afford alone.

if we can apply then we can get good quantity at a good price.

First incorporate a company & open a CDS account, then ask your Investment adviser to introduce your company to PP issues....BUT keep in mind, after 1st April 2011..all recipients of PPs have to hold for a minimum of 12 months before divesting on secondary market..!

agree CSE,so now no use of applying as a private investor,but apply if you want to be a long lasting shareholder.... cyclops

12 month lock in rule only applies for new issue of shares I think, like in the case of Access Engineering. It does not apply to sell down of existing shares by promoters, like in the case of Textured Jersey.

With private placements, the Board of the private company has total discretion as to whom to invite to apply for shares, and even regarding who to accept etc. Board of Directors can turn down anybody, without reason, as they are private company.
