Going by the population and death toll we are, but not immune to panic. unlike many other natural disasters.. in covid.. you your self is the one to save your self.. we have to be prepared and be safe..thats the best way to save human lives. goverment can only assist at it.. if our people roam around, they will pay the price.. simple as that.. but it should not hinder the countries growth and the economy.. sri lanka already struggling due to the 70 yrs of miraculous governance.. this goverment is not angelic.. but they are whatever we voted for .. so we have to bear and hope for the best untill they make the deciosions
