Negative operating cash flow is not a big issue as this is a normal process for a logistics company. There is 24bn receivable. What we have to see is that next few quarters whether this will continue. The WC is positive by miles.

You are right. What is of significance is whether this is consistent or not.

Seems this is a new normal for export oriented business. Having extended credit and Increased AR.

EXPO Doubled their revenue and seems they have offer extended credit to be competitive in the business. However it wont be much of case with rupee depreciation.

DIPD has the negative WC in Q2 too.

TJL Has negative Op C/F

MGT AR has increased by two fold

Guys what do you think is the future here for expo? I was really hoping a 70 within next month with the positive financials, but even with super financials I was surprised to be awfully dumped so heavily. I've been holding for a while so it was really disappointing. Should it consolidate in the early 50's before moving? It's hard to see that though.

I'm really surprised to see people dumping Expo after super financial report...need some clarification what's going on with Expo?

Seriously very pissed today after seeing a free fall kind of selling after the very positive financial report...it looks kind of manipulation.

earlier so many positive analyses posted... expecting 80+after Q3 results and close to 100 was expected...now all seem very dull and gloomy on Expo...

What's the future for Expo?

How it's ever possible to pay a dividend with negative free cashflow reported in Q3?

Dear guys,
My personal view is earnings are now stagnate for expo.n , I was looking for exit point of this during last 4 or 5 months and as commercial and other flights being normalising and with vaccine being success for new variant also, after doing further analysis and when march there is a high possibility to control covid for some extent, this time for exit and moving into a hotel share like eden.n bz coming month February most probably month that would emerging again tourism in Sri Lanka or any other well devidend paying share in next month, such as csd.n

Further that don't be too much hurry in coming month also will have few movement for sell us to expo.n, and will have rs. 1 dividend too may be.
For me expo.n is bit over value now considering readily available information.

Also there is huge amount of debtors with turnover growth, shows a risk of entering to now for expo.n

Therefore play wisely now, with your own study as I said earlier with expo.n , since we are retailer investors we can not do influence directly to the price and there is so many people may have now with so many news to give up this share to your hand now. Therefore be carefull and thanks expo.n for every earning gives to us and don't blame to expo.n for our urgent buying for fake news we heard.

The reason for this is Technical errors of Financial Statement. 10,000 Million profit indicated as lost but EPS is healthy level. Today it reached to 55/ level and settle.

Then why people are buying LOLC such a manipulate less valuable financially manipulate company, Something funny neh? Cash flow is not the major problem to this kind of multi billion $ company, They are keep transferring maximum benefit to customer, in the short term they have faced problem with working capital management, However it's no longer big deal to Multi billion $ company, I wonder why people panic and sold their shares @ Rs. 42.00 . Fishermen are highly rumored with Cash flow issue with Expo and they were collected so much yesterday, Very funny for looking this and enjoy with infant panic selling.. Foreigners keep buying and increased their quantity, So poor panic people are selling, Remember, Sri Lanka is the wonder of Asia, Didn't you remember Between Iraq and Iran war, SL market was down, Funny Island,

For me EXPO is a SOLID ICE BERG with top BILLION COMPANY, Go with FUTURE, Don't LOOK AT THE PAST

Dear Mates

Can't be all these a part of a near-game plan of "set" of people?
When refered to yesterday's senario; Because

1. It was possible to be a Red Friday since a long green 100mtr run and being the week end and month end where credit clearance comes usully.

2. May be when forseeing these the split news  (broke out previous mkt day and some Split anouncement were made after market hours) together with "Boad clearing" events as well

3. All of us (assume) got ready with collecting whatever we could having the guns ready

4. Aslo as usual with this overwelmed sentiments sooner the market opens it shooted to the sky like a rocket.  Here may be "panics"  whould have dumped their little saved or on credit

5. Then pumded to the clered board back shorting  out the price.

6. Unexpected market halt due to "Tech failure"  -  may be this is also another trump in the grame.

7. After almost an hour it fixed and by that time some demads have been vanished and marketed dropped to the bottom closed to 200 units in the index

8. This made further madness and panic for poor people like us
9.  Expo reliesed it's Financial Reports fueling a negetive sentiment

10. When mkt dropped a "set" was so anxious to collect the valubale gems at lower prices specially which were on the rally last week

11. At the 11th hour again it brought back to the reasonable level of the index closing the day and the month January 2021

When looking at whole senario for me it sensed something odd.  Appreciate if you too could give some insight for me as well as to our poor guies..

Be BE VIGILANT!!
Thank you.

What took place was profit taking and on Monday Expo will gain lost ground and cruise ahead. In the present bull run market has witnessed similar scenario before which is normal and healthy for a sustainable bull run.

Hi All,

If anyone thinks the debtor level is too much... 24Bn increased compared to previous year 18.4 Bn.. i have noted the risk has been already analyzed by the company and made provision 806 Mn which is 8 times more than last year provision. So the PAT already covered the risk of credit loss..

debtor level increased by 2 times (approx) and provision increased by 8 times than usual level, indicates the risk is already covered.

This is good operational level. As far as nature of business and worldwide network is concerned its acceptable.
Cheers for Monday. Investors will give better reply to the exceptional performance jealousy party.😀 Whatever hurdles come across EXPO will conquer the ground.

These things happen when brokers provide more credits as of market expansion.. So when the month end margin clearances appear, things happen in a massive way where we are not experienced with.

When fluctuations happen smaller way, we can tolerate and that's what we have been familiar with for last so many years. But things have changed and started to happen in largely, it is something new to us now.

We are just highlighting only about EXPO's down fall, but if we looking at other stocks such as
HAYC - 81 , RCL - 11.25 , LFIN - 15.50, LWL-27.00, TILE-20.25, DIPD-19.50 all were down respectively.

As someone mentioned here, EXPO's report came out at a unfortunate timing and along with system issue, month end clearance, fear and panic came all together and most of new comers dream's have been shattered unfortunately.

Best is to adjust trading methods as per new market sentiment going forward and be prepaid for it.

Lets hope EXPO would come to the normal parterres what we are familiar with in the upcoming days.

I think SMBK share appreciation too affected 29th jan. SMBK is one of the most attractive and demanded stock but due to that upset scenario investors got confused what was going on. Unless SMBK could be ended higher level as 29th was its opening day after split. Investors are the key to the market therefore their sentiment should be protected. Hope from Monday all may come their natural bullish pattern and this kind of rubbish acts should not be happened again where facilitating a small investors base is not a issue in so called ICT decade.

There were 8.9Mn foreign sales on SAMP and if you take EXPO 132,000 foreign buying, this will tell the story of EXPO

Expo report was released at the wrong time unfortunately.
They should have released it at the end of Friday trading day so that investors could have time to go through it and realize the company has done exceedingly well.
With all the chaos at CSE on Friday morning along with trading halts some people just sold Expo without looking at its super performance and future potential. Feel sorry for those who sold below 50.. that was absurd.
Anyway Expo journey will recommence next week. My prediction is that Expo will be a rs 100 stock within 2021. My only hope is that they start giving a good dividend too. True they will keep profits for business expansion but hope they allocate reasonable earnings for shareholders.

Think EXPO is targeted by certain group because it is performing extremely well and retailers benefited lot.

As long as retailer confidence is with EXPO price will appreciate and they will move up. It has all the potential to reach 80 and above in short term.

To meet the SPLIT challenge if EXPO could offer an attractive dividend announcement least Rs.1/- soon all will return to this stock and could move to 100 eventually.

If CSE stop margin for GLASS, BIL, ASPH in current context its reasonable. But they include EXPO is to promote split stocks.... it's my opinion
