CFLB is a solid company with fantastic growth perspectives. Right now it's not being played in any form or shape, so if you buy now, consider it a mid- to long-term investment. A very safe one at that I may add.

dont forget, in July CFLB further bought 12.5% in COLO. That made total stake in COLO to 62.5%.

Hmmm..it is quite strange that even after COLO's 40% appreciation CFLB didn't move at all....

As these share are held long term basis, appreciation of share price of COLO does not make any sense. CFLB may be aiming at revenue returns rather than capital gains from COLO.

Spot on Hiru, though I wouldn't be surprised to see them sell part of the 12.5% they bought. Generally their strategy is leaned towards revenues, absolutely correct.

Hiru is probably right.
Anyway, I did a calculation yesterday: After last month's transaction, the value of CFLB's stake in COLO has increased by Rs 1.183 billion ~ Rs 6.57 per CFLB share!
But, as Stock_kid points out, CFLB's share price been range-bound at Rs 63-66.

CFLB also heavily affected by the plantation sector, also even though COLO increase in price i don't thing they will dispose COLO but they increase there holding so i feel it will not effect there share price! what do you thing about it?

Yes. It is very important to understand that there are two types of warrants in SEMB.
One will be converted into a voting share and other will become a non-voting.

Dr T story tells us N share may get continuous buying interest than X. I saw someone put an excellent analysis on this yesterday. (sorry forgot your name )

I read that as well. it seems pretty good. but only if we assume that senthil will actually buy upto a mandatory offer. otherwise SEMB is simple not worth the price it's going for
