Is it possible to send dividends directly to my bank account?

you guys in abroad how do u cash in dividends checks?

yes, you can- write to the CDS with your account particulars

I also want to get know about this. Can I do this through my broker? The reason is shifting to this method is our postman uncle cheque ussanawa. Kuhakaya! Hora! Magodiaya! Thakkadiya! Pissa! Buruwa! Gona! Ang dekakuth thiyenawa.

Through your broker, make a request to CDS
giving your details
a) name
b) CDS account number
b) requesting to direct deposit dividends to bank account
i) bank name
ii) branch
iii) account number
iv) account type.

These needs to be done through your broker. He can advice on further info.

Thank You very much slstock. I ahve another reason. We are shifting to a new place in next week. Is it able to change or cancel the dividends cheques which have been already issued. (eg:-COMB)

ALso it would be best to change your address at CDS immediatley. ( through your broker)

When u change the address immediately inform to the CSE through your brokers, also friend inform to the Central Mail Exchange System about your change of address then they will for a period of time will divert the letters coming to your old address to the new address

I also had same problem earlier. What i did was, filled another application (including bank details) with another broker , i don't know whether the new a/c is opened or no, my chq's are going to banks .

I got all checks at once ... suddenly postmen brought lot of dividend..
