No wonder Sri Lanka is this position as there are soo many people with the IQ like this guy!
What a shame if some one says "we have to accept that development has reached every Conner of the country now.we dont have any alternative,"
Where do you live?? In Sri Lanka or in Mars??
This is the problem with the people who represent the opposition of this country. They are against everything that the government does. When it was the war they were saying "Alimankada - Pamankada". When there is development they can't see it. - This is the very reason that the opposition lost and continues to loose elections.
What is good we have a accept. There is road development and other initiatives taken by the government which is good. e.g.: highways coming up - roads been done - colombo port expanded.
At the same time opposition can disapprove corruption - political culture - legal system freedom. - These things are wrong..!
If the opposition and its supporters (who calls them the wisdom and brains of the nation - A minority of max. 42%) will keep thinking like this I am afraid they will never get to rule this country...
Open for discussion.
First of all... In a democratic country you don't go around the town saying whom you votes for. Second of all, you calling other people (at least most of them) uneducated and foolish is not ethical. To put things simply, a person running around the town saying who he voted for can't be considered bright or brainy and calling others uneducated.
On the other hand though I have plenty of examples to prove what I say, I don't wish to do so in front of BIG HEAD caliber people like you... To make you feel better "An uneducated person like me (like many others in this country) cannot talk with a educated bright person like you. So I (we) back-off...!

Sorry to see some one who can not read, understands,English properly but write some bullshit.,
First of all You have said I quoted "In a democratic country you don't go around the town saying whom you votes for"
* In a democratic society you can say to whom you voted for.,Whats wrong with it??Spineless people like @#$ may have no guts to say that.,
* I had to say to whom I voted for,to you because you have prejudged me as a opposition supporter and which is not true.,You are sorry about the error of your judgment you made.,not me.,
Again you said "you calling other people (at least most of them) uneducated and foolish is not ethical."
Here I understand you have serious problem with understanding English mate.,You have taken out of context and also your understanding about what I wrote was wrong.,I quote what I say again"Like most of uneducated, foolish people, but I do the needful for the country as it dues."
If you can not understand please get help from some one and dont be shame about it.,
Also try to read my reply again and read your too..It is for sure that names you called me are not valid to me but to you.,to me you are a sorry life!!

I think the people who read this forum will realize who you are and how you think. After all it is not the best to be so full of your own self and to downgrade other people. – But that seems to be how you have been brought up…!
First of all – If you wish to have a loudspeaker and go and announce the country what political party you voted for that is your choice. In fact in a democratic country that is permitted. What I am saying is anyone who does that shows the level of knowledge and brains he/she has. In turn, rather than downgrading other people on their language fluency and logical thinking – you better do a self evaluation about yourself. After all best thing to know in the world is about you.
I sincerely apologies if you felt hurt to hear that you were an opposition supporter. But I can understand the sentiments. After all a person who is so full of him/her self like you, won’t like to be a part of a minority – especially for others to know about it.
You in your first blog has specifically mention that “Not sticking to a party for my life time.,Like most of uneducated, foolish people, but I do the needful for the country as it dues” – read to yourself and understand what you have indicated.
I know your EGO is affected and the hormone change has made you angry. But at least if it would help you to think with a open frame of mind removing the EGO factor that would help the country a great deal in “doing the needful for the country as it dues”
Finally, as I have indicated above “I don't wish to do so in front of BIG HEAD caliber people like you... To make you feel better "An uneducated person like me (like many others in this country) cannot talk with an educated bright person like you. So I (we) back-off...!”

Agree with u small. It is not nice use words like IDIOT,FOOL etc. Those are actually insulting words.U can critisize but please do not use insulting words. As human beings we all/most are intelligent.smallville wrote:To all who are criticizing others - Guys if you cant be respectful and tolerate each and every one's views and if you're not having the patience to see others argue over ur comments, pls back off and refrain from further commenting..
The forum is not for condemning ppl but for construction arguments and knowledge sharing..
Just precisely and concisely lay your ideas without hurting others..
This is a REQUEST.. pls dont make this HARD...
Finally, I'm an independent viewer.. Just when I travel here and there I see a lot of infrastructure development projects being carried out in many areas of the country.. What ever the party anyone support, we must be ready to accept the good things even if those are coming from your enemy.. even its the the bitter truth you dont wanna believe..
I dont mind who the ruler is if the country is getting developed.. There are certain things that had been done which most of us wont accept.. Yet still we cannot forget that we're walking free in this country in this post war period..

Hey big head dingdong, can you pl give me 1 example where a country developed without grants or loans. Malaysia, south Korea, Thailand are good examples where these grants and loans used for infrastructure development and eventually made those countries attractive for investors and development.
open your eyes and see the development activities taking place in the country now. all governments took these grants and loans but ended in vain. Colombo port development, Uper Kothmale power project, Norochchole coal power project, sothern high way, hambantota port and airport project, these are few examples.
we have had worse government than this, worse presidents than this but we dont have any alternative at this moment. we need a strong leadership now, not a homo like RW, to take the country forward. previous governments did nothing but theft our ,money but now something is happening if someone say this gov is stealing, still this is better than previous governments as we dont have any alternative.
