My humble request to Admin Regarding News article posting.

I am not against to posting news article in this forum though I used to read the news article even before our co-admin post. But we may miss some important discussions due to continues news articles. There are many requests in this regard. Specially several requests from Kumar.

Can we maintain a separate section to scroll news article separately. (I don't know whether it's possible or not)

I need the comments from other member too.

What I mean was to have separate section for "Latest News". Then we will have Latest Topic and Latest News (Scrolling)

I do agree. But I decided to refrain from this issue in future.

BTW : Whats the new rule regarding having site links in forum signatures ?? Just out of curiosity... Can or Cant ??

What I mean was, we can have http://forum.srilankaequity.com as a signature.. not any other investment site cuz its adverse publicity for us..
If the sites u try to put as a signature is nt a competittor of us or its not porn, political or ur blogs related to these, I think its ok.. but check with admin

Yes friend it has become a headache now,every news article published in sunday news papers appear in the forum pushing the valuable topics in to the bin.In near future there won't be any discussions in this forum and this site will be another news site.So it's time for admin and moderators to think again about this waiting for a reply?

I have no qualm when someone does me a favour by trolling the news landscape and give me a quick fix.

News pp articles which are not bias and well researched are welcome. That will add value to the Forum. However, schedulling the news pp articles separately is convenient to users.

I tried to refrain from this discussion for my personal reason wants to break my silence.

These news posting issues were started in different threads by myself and godwin earlier.

I wish to brink to your kind consideration following facts.

1. OK if we want News paper articles to be classified in separate page, what we are going to post in the current news section?
Please elaborate what can be posted?

2. This news posting mania (Specially Sunday newspaper) was started couple of months ago only (This is my believe) to augment their post counts.( We can politely say that that will help the forum members to get access)

3. I believe some guys purposely putting the news in the talk section to get more views. ( Which in this forum got a reason - You can find so many examples in this forum - If some one post a good article or news in chart,help or fun section - I noticed no one care about the article but if some one post a rubbish thread in talk 200+ viewers 10+ comments )

4. As Rijay told the readers, if they are intelligent enough(?) the can find the news are bias or etc.

yes ..mark you are correct.. If it is rellay requred news paper article we can say at leaset it is fine.. but every sunday we can see all the news papaer articales are here. even if any branch open in any where ??? What a crap. I am not sure what is going on and cannot understand afterso many request why he cannot stop it ...
