Think before you buy their recommendations, because the chances are,
Some Ppl may have accumulated a quantity that their ready to cash.

Now they have an sms system sending buy recommendations. This is for the info of any newcomers to CSE.

They gave buy recommendation even when mkt was at 7800. They have significant quantities in most of the shares in the mkt.

Guys, in that case its not only the Capital Trust all the Brokers are on the same boat.
Thats why an investor needs some sort of knowledge about the Stock's fundamentals (such as High/Low prices , movement of Indices) and a strong sense on current market trend and Market Sentiment.

capital trust does not send buy/sell recommendation.they only send various ratios of listed companies and allow the client to buy and sell as they wish.

If broker cant give buy/sell recommendations Why we need them. They should do their research tech/fundamental and give reasonable valuation for their clients.

As u know Capital trust has been only buying shares ,which are at low PE/PB V and they were buying large quantities of all banks few moths a ago, and these company gained enormously.

So they've now stopped it.

Previously they published 2 excel sheets full of buy/hold/sell recon. They said, to be in safe side, buy only when a buy is give on all three D/W/M charts.. Laughing

For anyone who does not know, sometime ago, some famous broker company recommended a share called Greg to their clients as strong buy.
Then some rtelated parties dumped this and there a millions, or possibly billions worth minus clients accounts holding this share.
Mysteriously this illegal activity has never been investigated.

Dear Gamaya,

You are getting all wrong information, Capital Trust Partners Ltd never sold any GREG shares they bought over the last three years. I think they bought over 47 Million shares (13%). I hear they are buying up to 20% of GREG,they are buying daily. Because they started buying in to GREG only, those two Directors had to leave the board.

Your correct, two past Directors of Greg robbed the Company over Rs 150 million per year and this Company did not show any profit. They in fact bought Benz and BMW for Rs 300 million. So from now onwards the Company save all their money.

I never had an issue with CT because I always buy what I want and not what they want. My broker has been helpful. I have been to many research departments of brokering huts in SL so you cant complain much about CT since there are lot of really average ones.
