Bro, Hunter is not talking about a withdrawal to SL! But he's talking about "send money" transaction to your own MB account! Then you can withdraw them to SL thru a wire transfer!
MB is the most inexpensive way to receive e-currencies to SL!
Use liberty reserve if you wanna do online e-currency transactions from one form to another!

hunter wrote:I have received some queries about how to transfer funds from Moneybookers
(Skrill) to Sri Lanka. For the benefit of all required, I will try to put down the details step by step below.
1. Go to www.moneybookers.com web site and open an account: To open the account you need to have a valid email address.
Ok?
Some ppl asked if Sri Lanka is included there. Yes. Pls go to the following page and see www.moneybookers.com/send-money/country-list/index.html
Clear?
2. To withdraw money they may have different options As explained in the following page
www.moneybookers.com/send-money/how-to-transfer-money/index.html
If you like, you can send the money to your bank account.
3. To withdraw the money to a bank account, you need to have a bank account and verify it with MB (Moneybookers). You can send money to an unverified account also but the amount is limited (I think about USD 15 per tx)
4. If you like, you can use your LKR (Rupee account) in the bank but the bank may charge some commission when money is received in USD. Please check with your bank about this.
Alternatively, you can ask your bank to open an RFC (Resident Foreign Currency) account (So that you can deposit USD in it). Also check with your bank if the charge a commission or a fee. My bank does not charge a commission so it is FOC (Free of Charge) for me.
Clear?
If you don't like to use bank accounts, you can consider withdrawing money to your Credit Card.
5. Once you have opened a bank account. Note down the bank account along with the banks SWIFT code. SWIFT code is a bank ID number unique to your bank. Register your bank account with SWIFT and your Account number in MB site.
OK So far?
6. Once you get money in your MB account, you can first send a nominal amount to your bank account (say USD 10). When MB send money, they will send a secret code to the bank. Get that code from the bank and enter that in MB site. Then your Bank account is verified and now you can withdraw higher amounts.
Hope the above is helpful. Let me know if you wish to have any further details.
