Well I neva recommend GREG to anybody even an enemy.. but this GREG.W2 has something in it which I've practically seen after a good friend of mine also told me...

This W2 has a tendency to follow GREG.N quite closely.. Any run of GREG.N would drag W2 to the next level.. so if u wanna buy it best level is below 37... But be aware.. if GREG goes down W2 goes down too Wink

Please do calculations .Then you will know EPS for 2010/2011 and projected EPS .Considering the cash they have received through the sale of PLatinum mine .But if you do your caculations you will see whether price level can be justified by its earnings .
I dont see upward trend in prices related to its earnings other than gossips.
Before you buy do your calculations and if possible post it to this forum.
It will help us to make a fresh think

Thanx

Greg is laregly a speculative share.

If you are new to the stock market, you may not want to enter such speculative shares as the price of these shares tend to fluctuate a lot with or without any reason.

There is a number of shares in the market which is a higher price than EPS. (ex: LAMB LALU) The main thing is we should know at what price to enter and exit without shopping for fundamental shares. The main motive for all in the trade is to acheive profit regardless of what share.I dont know why people forget that GREG bounced from Rs.60 to Rs.150
Different players will argue on stocks due to different reasons and due to different opinions. We should decide and select best strategy that suits us. I dont know why people criticise a share like this. NO body is 100% perfect. Do not call anybody expert. They make bigger mistakes than others do. I am not saying GREG is a good investment. But the criticisms seems unfair. It was highly recomended by my broker saying they expecting " very good news" and may have a bull run again. Nothing has happen so far .

GREG W1 conversion due on June 2011.

Current prices are; GREG N. = 78.80 & GREG W1=71.80
Exercise price of W1 = 24.00.
theoretically GREG N. price should be > 95.80 (I.e 71.80+24.00)
but opposite could also possible

if price of GREG N is up... its warrant price too

if you catch W2 below 40.00 .. you are safe..

lol! lol! lol!

It's risky.... however, GREG, after their sale of the platinum mine and its aftermath, might probably report extraordinary figures, which can drive up the price.... however, the impact of those one-off events should be avoided when making investment decisions... However, it is a share that went over the 100 rupee mark.... it has potential... but their recent issue had created a lot of negative goodwill and fear among the investors..... most of them had burned their hands by investing in it, and according to my knowledge, some are still holding on to their portion bought at above 95 levels.... may be they are expecting prices to rise after April.... Smile

I prefer to not call BFL , GRAN,TAFL and even maybe LCEY speculative as either their financials support current prices or show clear growth possibility. ( ie GRAN case there were crossings at much higher prices). I guess same could be argued about PCH ( with higher crossings ) but PCH is trading at much higher PE already compared to GRAN/TAFL and hence it is speculative more.
Just my thought.

ANother high speculative would be TWOD in that sense. ( finanical support it but there is not gained income due to their nature. Also there is a court case)

I agree with Slstock.. WE cannot take GRAN, TAFL, BFL & LCEY to be speculative in nature.. The current figures are fairly valued for their earnings. BFL could be undervalued even as it has not reached 500 in a long time..
All 4 have growth perspectives due to last world cup & tourist season and the season is not over yet.. Hotel occupancy is still at high and the season yet to end.. more growth could be expected in coming qtrs too..

Time to time we see small small rallies in these stocks and ppl want these to reflect their true potential but if manipulated, I prefer to say we could see TAFL & GRAN is 220+ in a shorter period..

However their financials are on the roads means we can expect a normal run soon Wink

No argument at all. I'm a technical trader. Because of that I consider them speculative. They gave me massive profit time after another uninterruptedly in bull and bear.

for BFL
as I expected it was 194 one day(by gone days of investnow.lk) then I ride around 510 (525 is high point) Then I entered around 355-365 (352 Minimum point) exit around 415-420. Again enter 398-400 exit 493-495... do you think this is due to fundamental along. I don't think so, except our famous guru's value gem. I do the same for others too. PCH was the my resent celebrity before new year. I collected massive amount at exactly at 16.5 and exit 21.3 to 21.6

Thank

N. B. no argument about principles. If you argue you will attache to it and it is a sure thing for failure.
