It is too early to predict whether the correction or bottoming is over. Because we don't know whether market will now continue its upward trend or again will have similar sellouts!!

This is a good lesson for all brokers, investors and fund managers. Market is matured now, investors are matured, retailers are matured therefore we will not be able to make 150% return in one year like we all made in 2009-11 period. With interest rates being 6% and borrowing rates being 10%, credit is freely available. As a result IRR/Profit expatiation levels of stock market investments have dropped significantly due to low cost of funds. Current days Investors are happy with 25% p.a from the stock market instated of 6% from the Bank.

So there will be constant fluctuation of similar type until market will get fully adjusted to the latest corporate earnings and economic/political outlook of the country. Decemeber quarterly results or any prior prediction of the budget impact would help all of us to identify good stock for the new year.

Agree with Dr Stock, Unless otherwise Tsunami. Comet, Ebola, Bombs, Assassinations etc,

In terms of a stock market, Everything is perfect
After budget, Everything will be excellent and even rosy.

I also think that Sri Lankan Stock Market history is going to be re written this time.
Never sell single share till my initial targets are achieved.

7300= 50% retracement, will be the next hurdle ....

I have to give into NC... ASI closed above yesterdays HIGH 7241.

You got the point, 7300 is the 50% retracement.. (that's why I said its as my target Very Happy

And it valid only for short period of time, it'll expire today or max tomorrow, maximum target is 7400)
So, I hope if ASI entered to 7300 level it'll come back to 7240-7220 area, to confirm in daily chart, you know what I mean.. Very Happy

And, I know Shark and other technical traders can easily handle this, but prob on other members.. Still market is not recovered, at least we need to another 3-4 days to see where its moving, to ensure a sustained recover...
So, other non/less experienced members, don't be over confidence and buy especially on margin, bcz market has already given us warn..

Great words of wisdom from all. what we need is people who are genuine in their comments with no hidden agendas. After all people in this forum are not the big fish who are the high net worth individuals. its hard earn money. This is a very vital period in CSE.
specially this wk and nxt wk.
I expected a flat market for few days.
Things are going too rapid, down up both.
have to give some time for bull bear fight for a healthy market.
