T-bill rate has come down after it has gone up consistantly. CFVF has already hit by the interest rate impact on Q1 16. However if the rates continue to decline in Q2 then you can expect good result from CFVF in Q2 of 16.

Price appreciation in CFVF so far does not tally with Interest rate change.

Be careful.

Now people have gain some idea or heard about the link between two scenario. I think they are overacting.

This is the opposite of what happened in last few times.

Few years ago , when rates vent down by 400-600 points nothing happened in trading prices until they reported huge profits.

Now what I see is when rates change by just 40 points price go up by 50% .
This could be overacting by enthusiasts .
Try to evaluate possible future EPS and trading price with corresponding rate change.

In 2010 rate change was over 500 points and they reported huge profits.

Keep an eye on SCAP than chasing CFVF.
As of last Qtr they had under comprehensive Net gain on available-for-sale financial assets 122,087,753 which may have grown by now and will be added to B/S

Look at NDB In this declining interest scenario. As of last Qtr they had under comprehensive income (which is not brought to B/S)  Gains/(losses) from Available for Sale Investments 473,091,000 and this may have grown by now and will crept into B/S. Should go towards 180 by Dec
