A SMALL STORY TO ILLUSTRATE THE PLIGHT OF CSE INVESTORS:
There was a dog & a donkey in a house and the donkey was always complaining to the dog that the Master of the house is taxing him too much and he is fed up of life. The dog felt sorry and advised the donkey to run away from the house, to which the donkey replied that the master always scolds his daughter saying that he will get her married to a donkey for not doing well in studies. So, the donkey continued to stay with hope!
The investors in the CSE are like the donkey and the master is like the present govt.
The UNP govt started with the Central Bank robbery which damaged the reputation of the country and destroyed investor confidence, followed by screwing up the economy beyond remission. No point arguing, the only way out is to get rid of the United National Plunderers which is slated to happen for sure at all future elections.
There is some hope in the horizon even though it will be a tedious task for the new govt to mitigate the damage done by the 'goo governance' (Chinese way of saying 'good governance' which is more appropriate).
