I still don't think bil will run crazily like it did a couple of months back. But mid term this will touch 6.4 and reverse as i feel

Would you sell if Someone ask you to sell BIL tomorrow?? If your answer is NO, Why do u even bother to buy it on anyone's advice?? Don't mix up ideologies. If you went all in on a share like BIL (which doesn't have anything to justify it's CMP) Basis on pure speculation, then it's best you stick to speculation. Wait for news ect. Don't try to find fundamentals in speculative shares. Often people buy shares and start wondering what prompted them to buy those. When they can't find a reason to justify the purchase themselves, they ask if someone else could feed it to them. Very Happy

probably it might be your way, and it might work for you.
but the way i think is bit different.

this is how i think

with the current market condition and behavior i will buy it only i can buy it for 4.70 or below.it might hit 6.00 tomorrow, but i will not buy or sell. but if it down to 4.70 again i will buy only 100,000 shares and wait and see and try to collect one more lot (100,000) at 4.20.
i will act in ultra slow motion mode.

19th i bought only 100,000. next day if it reached 4.20 i will buy another 100,000 .but it went up and even reach to 5.50. then again i adjusted my next buying price to 4.70.

If you follow this kind of approach there is a higher probability you lose opportunities. we can not grab all the opportunities .

one more thing , don't jump into conclusions that market direction is up trend and it is clear.

still it didn't pass even the previous local maximum value.

i also analyzed BIL on those days, but always outcome was not good.
i didn't see what you saw.
still BIL is a sort of a gambling share for me, but my vision see something, that's why i never try to buy it above 4.80/=

i believe every portfolio should have a "gambling" share , but bought at little bit safe price, in my case it is BIL.

I too agree with xhunter here, most of us are into trading and if your risk appetite allows you to absorb a loss of share like bil, by all means, you should enter it. The price you enter is up to the individual to decide based on the target they set. simply you should not buy or sell a share just because someone else is doing it Smile
