Yes. Don't buy hotel shares.
Greece shares rose 11%, France 7.5%, Spain 8.6 %
Shares rose in Asian tourist destinations. But they must be major league fools.

Today around evening, friend of mine told me that he sold his half of Haleys, LWL, RCL, and bought hotel shares. He was advised by his office friends. Now he is regretting. Vaccine establishments in sri lanka and fiesta of tourism is long way head. He cannot block his cash in hotel shares. Better to be patient and mindful rather going after rallies. 🤔

It is a huge madness to listening to friends and misleading brokers in the market. I feel very sorry those who sell HAYL,DIPD,HAYC,RCL ,LWL,TILE,LMF,TKYO. See during this week what will happen.

Hmm.. who takes advise from your office friends? You need to make your own decisions especially when it comes to investments. Pretty much this is lesson no. 1 in stock trading.

First they have to decide which Countries they gonna give the vaccine. As i heard, it's based on the Mortality rate and will be started with Mexico.

Also 90% success is there, but it will take time to comes SL and it's very expensive.

Pfizer is one company testing a vaccine. There are few other companies also testing different vaccines from different countries. It’s gonna take several months before any vaccine gets to the public.

Pfizer vaccine needs to be kept at a temperature of MINUS 85 degrees. It’s going to be a logistical nightmare to transport and deliver that vaccine around the world.

So far Pfizer and BioNTech have reported no serious safety concerns from their vaccine. Before running the current large-scale study, the companies ran smaller clinical trials starting in May that were specifically designed to detect warning signs about the vaccine’s safety. They tried out four versions of their vaccine and selected the one that produced the fewest cases of mild and moderate side effects, such as fever and fatigue.

If their vaccine receives an emergency authorization from the F.D.A. and gets distributed to millions of people, the Centers for Disease Control and the F.D.A. will monitor them to make sure there’s no evidence of even rarer safety issues.Participants in the trial will also be monitored for two years.

Yes Vish, but, there were few winners who manipulated these shares. Learn is do not panic and do not sell value shares.

I think following shares has bright future, but there is a risk for any investment. Need to collect at bottom prices.

Short term targets
DIPD Rs.400 (High Potential / Bright future wit product diversification+enhanced capacity)
HAYC Rs.510 (Good performance wit innovative products)
ELPL Rs.52.30 (Seems there is a good opportunity on pending Financials and will reach WATA price)
TPL Rs.85 (Price is good compare to other Tea Plantations, Pending Dividend)
TKYO N/X Rs.68 / Rs.60 (Good future and for portfolio diversification)
SIRA Rs.6 (Easily can touch Rs.6)
CIC Rs.122 (Will depend on Market condition)
BPPL Rs.15.20 ( Try to collect below Rs.13.90)

Disagree on this. Look at today's trading, those who invested on hotels lost big time. "Teller" said the right word for those who invested on those stocks. Sad to see some taking bad advice and sold some good stocks these will pick up eventually. Expo Dip and few other companies had proven its performance and extended its business capacity. These are stocks that will do well even in the future as they have gained a good revenue and business model is operated by industry giants with proven track record. For the current market conditions such companies will do better.

Absolutely. You have to live in present !!
We don’t have Apple or Tesla in SL - to plan investments that ll yield in short term and in 10 years.
Focus on current and another year. See where the potential is. Go for it
Unfortunately no hotels would fall in to that category

Long term investment on hotels is good at least for proper recovery and movement of local and foreigners will take time. The prediction is a 3rd major build up in january. So invest wise that's all.

Power and energy sector shares may rise. These are based on my own view point only. Not a buy or sell recommendation.

VPEL - 10.50 (I adjusted with the downtrend. Previous target I set 12.50)
PAP - 6.00
VLL - 7.00

I expect VPEL to move soon as it has shown a good resistance level in this down trend.
