yes, this is very positive. The word Interim Dividend gives it lots of power. So we can expect few more or one more final dividend higher than this amount. Now, this is becoming a more solid stock. I would like to name this as SRI LANKAN AMAZON. when I said the first-time DIPD will pass 210 and HAYC will pass 300, at that time most of the guys not believed that. But today I am saying another such controversial saying. That is EXPO will be the largest market capitalized share in cse within another few years if it can manage its resources at this capacity in future as well.

Superb.... Early identification of a share gives you a better comfort to hold on to same to maximize your returns in the longer run. When EXPO was trading below Rs5.0/ many though that Rs5/ is the exit point. Then after it breaks Rs5/ then again many thought that the exit price is Rs10/ Then after passing Rs10 many thought the new exit price was Rs15/ After breaking Rs15/ many thought that exit price was surely Rs20/ Then again after passing Rs20 barrier many thought that Rs25 will be the exit point. EXPO has passed Rs25/ barrier is also in style & touched Rs30 level. Now the people who are thinking of Rs30 is the maximum now sold more than 230mn shares or bought same amount or trade same amount after EXPO breaks Rs25 barrier & touched Rs30 price. People who know that EXPO is a Rs40+ share buying it & others who know the business holding it. Good luck.

It has potential to be the top performer in our CSE radar at least for the next year. Prices could even reach up to its 50+ looking at its growth levels and high potentials of attracting both local and foreign investors with the positive investor friendly budget that was presented.

those who played earned alot but those who are onboard last will suffer....
i remember same situation in greg long time ago...

those who have profits better to book it than having expo for another 20 years Very Happy

What does Pigs get slaughtered mean?

This idiom is used to express being satisfied with enough, that being greedy or too ambitious will be your ruin.

Yea I have seen this example from several years back being taken to criticize him. The 90%+ times he has been accurate not appreciated by many. Anyways No body needs to listen or follow him blindly so if things go wrong it’s upto each individual person.

So what’s your analysis on Expo? CMP too high even with current performance and guaranteed short term future earnings?

This is what happened to TKYO (N) after the Rs 1.50 dividend announcement on 18th Sep. 2020.

As i remember, TKYO had an up trend and soon after div announcement price dropped drastically.. meantime covid issues and it dropped further...
but after sometime it came back better than it was...

If you see Expo Similar trend.. Big players drop the price and collect it at lower... and get the div plus capital gain...

Traders use the same opportunity and collect at lower during this period and sell before the Ex div date.. so the day before ex div date the price will drop by min to the Div per share.. this...
Examples - LLUB (past) , Tile and LWL (present)
Collections happenig for - GRAN and TAFL and EXPO...

soon it will bounce back..

This is my view....

before the dividend announcement also, TKYO was trading above R.66/= after the dividend announcement of Rs.1.50, most of the forum q-expert predicted TKYO'S trading over Rs.75/- like EXPO'S prediction of 30 and 40 by some people after the dividend announcement.

What was the impact on TKYO after the Rs.1.50 dividend announcement? you mean yesterday TKYO was traded@ 62 and today 60.20 to 61 ? What about the TKYO'S trade above 66 before the dividend announcement?

After the government decision to ban on foreign Investment by Sri Lankans , vehicle imports, luxury items  as well as some groceries imports to spare foreign exchange.

These foreign Investment by Sri Lankans ,vehicle importers. luxury goods and groceries importers are now without no option compel to invest in CSE as short term investment as advised by some of the influential people at central Bank counter when they visit for import permit,

This is the reason recent surge in share market mostly inflated . Some are satisfied that new fund replacing /absorbing with the foreigners exit from CSE.

What will happen if the government remove the ban on these items? some will argue gov't won't remove the ban at least for two years like tax on tin fish
