You may be correct BAKKA. It looks MACD also giving positive signals. Can we expect Financial reports to come nearby?

If i am correct, the PRASAC sale proceed will not be reflected in this report. And PRSAC's operational profits will also not be applicable to this Q right?

How will this affect LOLC performance for this upcoming report?

I think the PRASAC sale and gain would get reflected in June 2020 quarter, not Mar 2020 quarter, coz the final approval was received in April 2020.
What do you think?

Well, good question.

LOLC entered into the Share Purchase Agreement early Jan 2020 and this was subject to the approval of the National Bank of Cambodia.

We aren't exactly sure the date NBC rendered approval. April's disclosure did not mention it either and it's a gray area.

However, since the agreement was done early Jan, regardless of when the approval from NBC was received, the sale is in enforcement from Jan and the reason I conclude, PRASACs disposal should be recognized in Q4. Even if the approval is required to constitute the Sale, it's likely the approval from the NBC came Pre April before LOLC received it's first payment tranche. I understand this is subjective as we aren't sure what constitutes to the completion of the sale and approval date. Time will say.

Forget about payment dates since it's not important variable. Even if payment is to be received in 10 years, the sale should be recognized.

There is huge potential for LOLC share and most investors are waiting for Q4 reports to be released soon. Do you think whether USD 432 MN proceeds will be reflected in Q4 reports and how to effect for LOLC share price? Anyway, I collected LOLC considerable amount of shares average price of Rs.113  after the opening of the COVID vacation. This is NOT a buy recommendation and seek your comments.

Profit is not cash. LOLC overseas sale money will not come to Sri Lanka, only profits will be shown in LOLC books. Dont get carried away with LOLC which is a fake assets of which cash is lies in Singapore under a different company owned by the same directors.

Both profits and cash generated from the PRASAC sale will be in the group and will be recorded in the consolidated accounts of LOLC Holdings PLC. Geographical location of subsidiaries does not matter, if you own a LOLC Holding PLC share, you own the profits and cash applicable to that share.

Further, you can't siphon out money from a listed company who's accounts are audited by reputed firms and monitored & regulated by the CSE and SEC.

If you are worried about them not paying dividends from that gain, yes, they may or may not.. thats a call you have to make on your investment decision. But no matter whether they keep the sales proceeds as cash, payout as dividends, invest in Sri Lanka or invest in another country, those assets are owned by the shareholders of LOLC Holdings PLC.

So its better to readup on corporate law, accounting standards and corporate structures before misleading new investors.

I remember the overseas transaction of blue diamond. I can assure you, if LOLC targets customers who regularly goto either HSBC or Standard Chartered-- rebrand or something to get there, they will definitely get big funds investing in them.

If overseas investments are bad, shareholders of multinational like, Tesla, Apple, Microsoft are screwed. Substantial amount of their assets are overseas. LOLC has not only been able to make a huge capital gain from its assets overseas, they have been abke to benefit from the depreciation of the Rupee. The resultant increases in wealth goes to the shareholders of LOLC Holdings PLC, no matter which subsidiary, or the location of the subsidiary the wealth is parked.

"Promoney"'s comments are very fair and professional.

Recently I observed several personal fights with each other rather than a professional approach.

Thank you. I need to clarify something regards some of my posts. I personally have zero hostility to Tamils, Muslims & Boras. However as a student of history I politically oppose their agenda to destroy our Sinhala Buddhist Civilization. Perhaps I can get my point across with less emotions. I believe GR will secure 151 & create a society that is not held hostage by narrow sectarian agendas.
